This releases norepinephrine in the body, which works to boost mood, mental clarity, and focus. By hacking our autonomic system, we can naturally elicit “eustress” to boost our energy. Eustress refers to stress that leads to a positive response. It is the opposite of distress and can refer to any type of beneficial stress, whether physical or psychological. People perceive this type of stress as manageable and even motivating. This coaching is best in the morning or afternoon as a response to procrastination. It can also be used to find creative energy.
